Leap into Wisdom

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. Romans 12:6

I love Romans 12:6-8 because I know I am unique and God created me for His purpose. Over the years I continued to seek after God by participating in Bible studies and other ministries. In 1998 I was in my early 30s, married for five years, raising three kids and we had just moved into our second home. I distinctly remember the day I was thanking God for all he had done for me. I always heard testimonies that touch lives and I specifically prayed for God to use me to help others.

Leap into Service

If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; Romans 12:7

After attending Bible Study Fellowship International (BSF) for about a year, I was asked to be a Children’s Leader. I knew God was taking me up on my offer. It was so amazing how God used me to teach children from 2 – 5 years old. BSF was held during the day to allow stay-at-home Moms to attend a weekly bible study while their non-school age children learned lessons that were appropriate for their age.
