When you confess that you want Jesus to lead your life, be prepared to experience trials. Tests and trials helped to develop my faith. The definition of supplication is the action of asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly. Bringing my husband’s daughter into our home caused more significant turmoil. She eventually left after her 18th birthday party in May 2006. Shortly after my husband had a total nervous breakdown. Praise God that I was covered in prayer from the leaders in BSF while I continued to serve. My husband was treated with a lot of medications and experienced many side effects. After 7 months, God told me to stop giving my husband all of the medications and trust Him. Slowly my husband started to recover towards the end of 2007.

The 2008 Recession followed which caused my business to drastically decline. Again I prayed for God to show me what to do. That’s when my husband and I met a man that was a Hurricane Katrina survivor. He was very charismatic and helped us to build a successful home-based multi-level business. In September Hurricane Ike caused emergency evacuations in New Orleans. Since we had space in our 4,000 sq. ft. home, we allowed 12 of our business friend’s relatives to stay in our home for a week.
